Daily Buzz: I Have Lots To Tell!

I’m glad that despite of my busy work schedule, I’m still able to update my daily buzz! Of course, that’s how I love keeping giving you some bits of my boring life! LOL!

The daily buzz is now rolling for some great saturday delight! And I have lots to tell like I’m a buzzing bee!

So, I did finished work early yesterday so I can join SM’s FUNKY Bowling event! And  boy, you’ve got to love me more!  Together with some bloggers in Cebu, after doing the challenging FUNKY Bowling style, I’m proud to say and a bit surprised that they gave me the award for the FUNKIEST BOWLER OF THE NIGHT! Of course, that’s ME!

SM City Cebu: Enchanting Christmas Trees 2010

SM City Cebu launched their Christmas campaign with the ceremonial lighting of their Enchanting Christmas Trees with Cebu City Councilor, Margot Osmeña last November 6, 2010. The Christmas Trees are indeed glittering with dominant red themed decorations.  The Big red chair with Santa is also unveiled during the launching.

SM Supermalls find a way where family and friends could gather and be merry in time of the holiday season. In line with the christmas trees lighting is also the launching of SM’s Official Christmas anthem, SM Christmas ChriSMs Bop. This is actually the Christmas jingle that will be played on the airwaves of SM Supermalls as you go shopping!

Radisson Blu Hotel Cebu

Radisson Blu Hotel Cebu just opened on September 27, 2010. This is the first SM hotel in Cebu!  It is indeed the first Radisson Blu hotel in the Asia Pacific region which would translate to an additional of 400 five-star accommodation rooms in Cebu.

“The SM Group, through the SM Investments Corporation (SMIC) invested about P2.5 billion to rehabilitate the structure which was originally built supposedly for another hotel management partner.“-Philstar.com

Positioned in the country’s oldest and second-largest city, the Radisson Blu Hotel Cebu will be located as the city’s leading international upper-upscale hotel and is designed to appeal to both business and leisure travelers.

Radisson Hotel Cebu is owned by the SM Investments Corp. (SMIC), the hotel investment arm of the SM Group but will be managed and operated by the Carlson Hotels Worldwide-Asia Pacific. Read more…

SM City Cebu and IMAX Theater

It is now official that SM City Cebu will open it’s IMAX Theater on July 9, 2010 featuring the most talked about movie in the previous months, AVATAR (in 3D). This will be the first IMAX theater outside Metro Manila (the first is in SM MOA) and the 3rd IMAX Theater in the country (Philippines).

An IMAX Theater has a screen with a height of 14 to 24 meters. Regular cinemas only have about eight to 10 meters. Here in SM City Cebu, it is a 450-seater IMAX theater. If you are talking about the ticket price, it might be around P300 to P400. Could be  less P50 to P100 compared to Manila’s price.

Fire Lantern and My Wish

On the eve of Valentine’s day and Chinese New Year (February 13, 2010), I was invited to have the opportunity to fly my own fire lantern in SM City Cebu along with other Cebu Bloggers. It was my first time and it’s a good detox (physically) to relieve stress! It’s definitely a hot event! As you know, it involves fire! Hahahaha…
