My Special Day

I went back home to celebrate my birthday with relatives and family. Though in those times, I never thought much about you yet till in the middle of the night, when I was asleep, my phone rang. I managed to answer the call but I hear no one. So I put it back down and thought I was just dreaming. But, I’m sure I wasn’t when my phone rang for the second time, continuously, so I hurriedly answered it while I’m in my drowsy mood. To my surprise, I heard a familiar voice but I can’t determine who. For who will be awake at 12 mid to call me?! Then I heard a voice on the line, a birthday greeting! Like I’m caught in surprise and still trying to recognize the voice and then you said your name! Wow! I felt so happy that someone remembered me to call on my special day at exactly 12 midnight! All I can say is “thank you and appreciate it”. Though we spent talking like a few minutes on the line, but you were miles away from me, like overseas! I can’t imagine why you took the effort of calling me but let me think that as a special greeting. Wolverine and Luna

When I watched the movie, X-MEN Origins: Wolverine, there is this one scene that I liked most. It’s the part where Logan (Hugh Jackman) and Kayla Silverfox (Lynn Collins) got into their most intimate and deep heart repartee in a couch. While the teasing and pre-sex reposition of the couple were in their best gesticulation, Kayla heartily shared a love story about a moon and it’s lover to Logan in their deepest thoughts in that one heated night! Who says the government never helps anyone?

When you look around right now, it’s easy to get depressed. You know people who have picked up pink slips. There are houses in your area that have been foreclosed and they are just sitting there like rotting teeth in your neighborhood because no-one’s buying. And what are those guys doing up there in Washington? Well they seem to be doing nothing that’s really going to help the ordinary people of America. They are carrying on with the same old, same old arguments. Tax cuts solve all our problems. We’ve got to spend billions to rebuild America. Like tax cuts are going to help you when you’re unemployed, and planning something to build is going to make for new work opportunities tomorrow. Well, for once, there is some good news. The Stimulus Package has hundreds of pages and thousands of plans but there’s one that might turn out to be a “good thing”. Now don’t you go holding your breath because what it says in something produced by Washington may not work out on Main Street. But let’s look on the bright side for once. This one may just pay off.
