Cebu Food Street by Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort

Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort introduces their own Cebuano Food Street dubbed as “Food Street: Cebu’s Gourmet Street Cuisine by Maribago Bluewater”. This is another themed dinner by the resort that is happening every Thursdays on this 4th quarter of the year 2010. As you know, I was able to experience a sumptuous meal during their themed dinner every Tuesdays dubbed as Bluewater Clambake!

I get delighted to savor the different Filipino Recipes that is common to be found on Philippine Streets. The street food showcases the country’s culinary culture especially giving emphasis to the Cebuano flavor where in you can have one of the best places to get delighted with street food.

I am glad that Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort highlighted such themed dinner to give those travelers a taste of the richness and diversity of Cebu’s food culture. The proud Chef Alan simply would love to introduce the authentic food culture in Cebu with the all time favorite delectable street food.

Certainly, there are a number of stations or stalls that you can hop just like what you normally see on streets. Of course, Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort has made a good set creation for it. So, are you ready to see what made me full that night?

At Station 1

Savor their Kinilaw na Sinugbang Talong, Atsarang Kapayas, Kinilaw na Isda, Kamoteng Pinabukalan, Manggang Hilaw, Chicharon Carcar, Ginabot.

At Station 2

This is so common on streets! Check the Balut, Fried Fishball and Squidball, kwek-kwek, Ngohiong, and Sugbo tempura.

At Station 3

It is more on grilled and barbecue cuisine like Sinugbang baboy, sinugbang manok, sinugbang chorizo, sinugbang atay, sinugbang isda, sinugban nokus, batikon.

At Station 4

This is more like something you will see during fiestas. Enjoy the Inasal, Balbacua, Puso, Bam-i and Mais.

At Station 5

Considered as the Filipino Desserts. I  love to eat these: Biko, Bukhayo, Mais Con Yelo, Masi, Buko Ice Drop, Kamote Q, Pintos, Palitaw, Fruit Salad, Hot Cake, Bingka sa Mandaue, etc.

Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort’s Themed Dinner: Bluewater Clambake

Sometime in the first week of October, I was so lucky to get invited by Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort to taste one of their THEMED DINNERS. Each day of the week, they have different themes for their dinner and for TUESDAY, it’s dubbed as the BLUEWATER CLAMBAKE night! Indeed, a sumptuous seafood meal varieties for their guests were served!

Ever since I’ve come to visit the resort, they always have great and delicious food for you to savor! The taste could be as exquisite as the venue as their menu are cooked really fresh from the magic hands of their Chefs.  And the scenic view upfront the beach is also a perfect spot where you can dine romantically with your love one or even having family dinner.

Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort Celebrates 21st Anniversary

OQ would like to congratulate Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort for celebrating their 21st Anniversary dubbed as “Coming Together At 21″.

Cebu is really proud for having Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort in its 21 years of existence in providing a world class and quality accommodation and vacation services to its locals and foreign tourists! Indeed, something worth to be recognized and promoted.

Way back to its history, they started with 40 employees with 32 rooms on July 21, 1989. The Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort served as a weekend getaway resort for the Alegrado family. It blossomed as they started to acquire surrounding properties and developed it and in return, providing work and job opportunities to its owners. Soon: OQ will be in Sumilon Island!

I think I will have to extend my summer breeze escapade to visit the hidden paradise of Sumilon Island. I’ve never been to that place so I am definitely much excited to strip my bikinis (lol) for its sun-kissed waters and sparkling ocean.

It will be fun to visit Sumilon Bluewater Island Resort courtesy of Maribago Bluewater Beach resort. The resort has been a great host to us, bloggers. We are able to get a foretaste of their excellent service, amazing amenities and appetizing buffet meals last summer for FREE!

Summer Experience: Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort

May 16, 2009- This final day has come! We had our warm summer experience and fun at Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort. Cebu bloggers got their splash of summer heat savoring the resort’s classy accommodations for FREE. It was a superb complimenting resort venture for all of us.

If you would like to feel and experience a first-class indulgence while relaxing and enjoying the resort’s amenities, buffet meals and spa accommodations, I recommend Maribago Bluewater Beach resort for you.

We had the perfect VIP treatment even from the start. At around 4 pm, we had the resort’s transportation vans picked us up at SM City Cebu Northwing where the resort had a designated tourist pick up area. It is a 30-minute or less drive from the mall to the resort. As we arrived, the resort’s warm staffs gave us welcome refreshments (calamansi juice) and our sea-shell necklaces in the reception area. We felt like eminent guests and that is very important for every tourists. Read more…
