My Special Day

I went back home to celebrate my birthday with relatives and family. Though in those times, I never thought much about you yet till in the middle of the night, when I was asleep, my phone rang. I managed to answer the call but I hear no one. So I put it back down and thought I was just dreaming. But, I’m sure I wasn’t when my phone rang for the second time, continuously, so I hurriedly answered it while I’m in my drowsy mood. To my surprise, I heard a familiar voice but I can’t determine who. For who will be awake at 12 mid to call me?! Then I heard a voice on the line, a birthday greeting! Like I’m caught in surprise and still trying to recognize the voice and then you said your name! Wow! I felt so happy that someone remembered me to call on my special day at exactly 12 midnight! All I can say is “thank you and appreciate it”. Though we spent talking like a few minutes on the line, but you were miles away from me, like overseas! I can’t imagine why you took the effort of calling me but let me think that as a special greeting. First month

I found the first month of the year very enticing. LOL. Yeah, you told me to start the year with a bang! Yes, I did! Because you’re like the firecracker that keeps my days sparkling every time I see you.

I can’t forget the breaks and lunches we had together. The small chichats while munching our food. That’s the first time I realized that there’s something’s unique in you. And I felt so sorry to hear that you’re definitely allergic to flour! And that the reaction that it may cause you would even take your breath out forever. I don’t want to happen that to you (if ever, forever is ours). That means, all your birthdays are celebrated without cakes, pastas, pizzas, noodles, cookies and pastries. I can’t imagine how could I surprise you with those forbidden food on your very special day? Am thinking of a vegan party for yah! Hmmm… I will try to be your queer chef that time! I stumbled one time reading comments on some sites and learned that many Rainbow advocates and supporters had watched the movie: Love of Siam. It is a Thai romantic-drama film. I hope this film would be shown here in CEBU’s prime cinemas to cater our LGBT communities within the locality. It has been part of the Cinemanila 2008’s South East Asia (SEA) Film Competition.
