Asus Ultimate 2009 Overclocking Show
As part of ASUS PC Fair (May 14 to 24, 2009) here in Cebu, there will be an Overclocking show competition using the top hardware brands like Intel, Logitech, etc. on May 23, 2009 at 2 pm at the Entertainment Plaza (near Food Court), SM City Cebu.
For those who are not so computer savvy or techgeeks, if you’re wondering about overclocking, let me share what I’ve got! Here:
Overclocking is the process of running a computer component at a higher clock rate (more clock cycles per second) than it was designed for or was specified by the manufacturer, usually practiced by personal computer enthusiasts seeking an increase in the performance of their computers. Some of them purchase low-end computer components which they then overclock to higher speeds, or overclock high-end components to attain levels of performance beyond the specified values. I made a slide for the first shots I took from my Canon IXUS 860IS that I just got last saturday. We dined in Gerry’s Grill and we are off to Pod 5 in BTC to shell out the diva in us!

Apple-iPod Shuffle and Canon digital camera
Having been influenced by friends and work mates in their advocacy to photography and music, I am forced to buy my own digital camera (Canon IXUS 860IS) though I used my K810i cameraphone to take photos for my blogs. This Canon IXUS 860IS is known in North America as PowerShot SD870 IS Digital Elph. It’s an 8 Megapixel compact with a 3.8x optically-stabilised zoom lens and a large 3in screen. I might now be serious into photography. I’m a month-old food blogger and I definitely need a digicam! I was also amazed with the ZoomBrowser EX software as one of its Canon Utilities where I can customize my photos. Love it! Pls. click here for the cam’s specs.
