December 13, 2008- The Cebu Bloggers Society (CBS) Xmas Party is one of the highlights of that day! After I’m done with my charitable works at Asilo dela Milagrosa with my SPUD (Paulinian) Family, I rushed ahead to McDo in JY to meet the CBS group who waited there. While waiting for others to come, I sponsored to buy a box of cake roll from Red Ribbon. Shortly after everyone arrived, we rode on a jeep which we persuasively conquered the seats to bring us to EvanJhnn Mendoza’s residence at Jardin de Busay! What a lovely place to relax and chill.

While us? The Team Hugawans of MATRIX Wireless hunt in the terraces of Ayala in Giligan’s for our team lunch! We have so much nega-feeds about our experience on that place! Service Crews are not taking orders correctly and are not that accommodating to their customers! They still lack manpower to cater every hungry patron, leading some to walk out while stressfully waiting for long minutes before they get assisted.

November 5, 2008- The Cebu Bloggers Society members were invited to join the US Election Watch 2008 sponsored by the US Embassy in the Philippines at SM City Cebu’s Northwing Atrium around 9 am to 2 pm. A number of bloggers were present to witness the historical and most hi-tech election ever in the United States of America. It’s definitely a date to note!

Let’s call it, a night! Yeah, still fresh from the digitalfilipino club networking event that I attended in Teatro Casino of the Waterfront Hotel in Lahug, Cebu City. I stumbled one time reading comments on some sites and learned that many Rainbow advocates and supporters had watched the movie: Love of Siam. It is a Thai romantic-drama film. I hope this film would be shown here in CEBU’s prime cinemas to cater our LGBT communities within the locality. It has been part of the Cinemanila 2008’s South East Asia (SEA) Film Competition. Apple-iPod Shuffle and Canon digital camera
Having been influenced by friends and work mates in their advocacy to photography and music, I am forced to buy my own digital camera (Canon IXUS 860IS) though I used my K810i cameraphone to take photos for my blogs. This Canon IXUS 860IS is known in North America as PowerShot SD870 IS Digital Elph. It’s an 8 Megapixel compact with a 3.8x optically-stabilised zoom lens and a large 3in screen. I might now be serious into photography. I’m a month-old food blogger and I definitely need a digicam! I was also amazed with the ZoomBrowser EX software as one of its Canon Utilities where I can customize my photos. Love it! Pls. click here for the cam’s specs.

Lately, my team just earned Php 5k from our program by rendering the most no. of OT hours rendered for a week. It was a contest then that we took seriously and it’s worth it! We hit the mark and the money is ours! In addition, we are given GA funds to spend on whatever trips or outings we wanted. This idea is a good thing from top management as it was stopped before in the last 2 quarters of the past year. Yippee! We are just so lucky this time!
