Asus Ultimate 2009 Overclocking Show
As part of ASUS PC Fair (May 14 to 24, 2009) here in Cebu, there will be an Overclocking show competition using the top hardware brands like Intel, Logitech, etc. on May 23, 2009 at 2 pm at the Entertainment Plaza (near Food Court), SM City Cebu.
For those who are not so computer savvy or techgeeks, if you’re wondering about overclocking, let me share what I’ve got! Here:
Overclocking is the process of running a computer component at a higher clock rate (more clock cycles per second) than it was designed for or was specified by the manufacturer, usually practiced by personal computer enthusiasts seeking an increase in the performance of their computers. Lately, my team just earned Php 5k from our program by rendering the most no. of OT hours rendered for a week. It was a contest then that we took seriously and it’s worth it! We hit the mark and the money is ours! In addition, we are given GA funds to spend on whatever trips or outings we wanted. This idea is a good thing from top management as it was stopped before in the last 2 quarters of the past year. Yippee! We are just so lucky this time!
