Cebu Bloggers Society Turns 4!

I can’t imagine we are now on our 4th year! Isn’t it something worth to be proud of’? We have grown in numbers amidst differences but we remain as a solid group in influencing a better online community for local bloggers and the public in general. We may be a small group of bloggers been formed here in the Queen City of the South, Cebu. But looking back through the years we’ve been through, we have been serving reliable sources of information beneficial for the common good of all through our blogs!

And as a member, I am overwhelmed with meeting young minds and those who have gained their own respective professions under a group we call as a Blogging society. Where there is a thin line between young and mature individuals sharing and helping each other to help the online community and media networks in harmony.

ENJOY Card! Get One Now In Cebu!

Know it straight from the Queer Blogger! Yes, ENJOY CARD is now here in Cebu! I was able to witness its launching at MAYA (Mexican restaurant) in Crossroads, Banilad last August 25, 2010.  It is well-attended by the Cebu media, members of Cebu Bloggers Society Inc, and local VIPs.

Mandaue Business Month: Run for Life 2010

Today might be the last day of the registration for Mandaue’s Run for Life 2010 activity. I’m pretty much sure that there are many colleagues of mine in the blogging industry who will join the said event. The Cebu Bloggers Society Inc. is a proud online media partner of  The Mandaue Chamber of Commerce this year. So what are you waiting for? Get yourself enlisted now!

SM City Cebu and IMAX Theater

It is now official that SM City Cebu will open it’s IMAX Theater on July 9, 2010 featuring the most talked about movie in the previous months, AVATAR (in 3D). This will be the first IMAX theater outside Metro Manila (the first is in SM MOA) and the 3rd IMAX Theater in the country (Philippines).

An IMAX Theater has a screen with a height of 14 to 24 meters. Regular cinemas only have about eight to 10 meters. Here in SM City Cebu, it is a 450-seater IMAX theater. If you are talking about the ticket price, it might be around P300 to P400. Could be  less P50 to P100 compared to Manila’s price.

I will soon be going to Bangkok, Thailand for a vacation trip along with five other girlfriends this coming June, 2010. We are so thankful to Cebu Pacific for offering a 50% Cebu Pacific Promo Fares. We are so excited for our first out-of-the country tour and our first in Asia travel as well.

Part of the itinerary (will be posted soon) will be a side trip to Cambodia for the Angkor Wat and Laos for the it’s historical landmark. We will try to visit Vietnam if time would permit it. We also plan to hit Malaysia but we need a good tour guide for that! LOL.

And not just that, a month after it, we will be going to Hong Kong for a few days-vacation with 2 of my other friends. Our main goal is to visit Disneyland just to have fun…of course, shopping will be on the list!

Once again, special thanks to Cebu Pacific Promo Fares for the tickets (of course)! I think we have months to prepare and complete our itinerary trip.

PBA-Visayas Winners!!!

It’s already hours away from now, and we will know the PBA-Visayas Winners. Philippine Blog Awards-Visayas is happening tonight at Ayala City Sports in Cebu!

Hope to see new and old Visayan Bloggers tonight in PBA-Visayas! I’m excited to know the winners of PBA-Visayas.

Wondering this time on what to wear for the event. Will I go sexy, gurly or classy? Will I try to mix and match? When I doubt, black is a friend of moi! This is the PBA-Visayas effect! I’m now ready with my cam and some accessories. Will be showcasing my new Cherry Mobile Comet! LOL…

Mamma Maria’s Pizza is back in Cebu!

June 12, 2009- The authentic Italiano Pizza and Pasta and perhaps the biggest pizza in the world is back here in Cebu! Since 2005, Mamma Maria’s Pizzeria is now open 24 hours! Their main branch is located in Gorordo Avenue between Cardinal Rosales & Archbishop Reyes streets. It’s probably near, quite fronting Asilo dela Milagrosa Church.

Mama Mia! The Cebu Bloggers (CBS) were invited on the ribbon-cutting of the pizza giant comeback of Mamma Maria’s Pizza! They will be serving soon, the 52-inch size pizza to the locals and tourist of Cebu! Well, we’ve got a foretaste of the different mouth-watering flavors the pizzeria is offering to our insatiable tummies!
