Cebu Bloggers Society Turns 4!

I can’t imagine we are now on our 4th year! Isn’t it something worth to be proud of’? We have grown in numbers amidst differences but we remain as a solid group in influencing a better online community for local bloggers and the public in general. We may be a small group of bloggers been formed here in the Queen City of the South, Cebu. But looking back through the years we’ve been through, we have been serving reliable sources of information beneficial for the common good of all through our blogs!

And as a member, I am overwhelmed with meeting young minds and those who have gained their own respective professions under a group we call as a Blogging society. Where there is a thin line between young and mature individuals sharing and helping each other to help the online community and media networks in harmony.

Cebu Bloggers Society Inc. Now On Its 3rd Year Anniversary

I would like to congratulate Cebu Bloggers Society, Inc. (CBSi) for its 3rd year anniversary! Looking back, this group just started from a very small number of vibrant, young bloggers of Cebu. Now, it has grown in bigger number! I would like to say that I’m proud to be part of this blogging group in Cebu. Donate Your Books: Tsinelas’ Their Books 3

“THEIR BOOKS” is an award-winning fund-raising project of Tsinelas participated in by writers, columnists, editors, musicians, painters, media practitioners, teachers, the academe, politicians and other prominent personalities in Cebu. These people are asked to donate books from their personal collections. The books are then put on sale for the public. Hence, the name “Their Books.”
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
THEIR BOOKS” is an award-winning fund-raising project of Tsinelas participated in by writers, columnists, editors, musicians, painters, media practitioners, teachers, the academe, politicians and other prominent personalities in Cebu. These people are asked to donate books from their personal collections. The books are then put on sale for the public. Hence, the name “Their Books.”

While Their Books started with books donated by personalities in Cebu, it also welcomes donations from ordinary book lovers.

The first Their Books was held in November 2008 at the Ayala Center Cebu, the second was in September 2009 in the same venue.

OQ would like to congratulate Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort for celebrating their 21st Anniversary dubbed as “Coming Together At 21″.

Cebu is really proud for having Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort in its 21 years of existence in providing a world class and quality accommodation and vacation services to its locals and foreign tourists! Indeed, something worth to be recognized and promoted.

Way back to its history, they started with 40 employees with 32 rooms on July 21, 1989. The Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort served as a weekend getaway resort for the Alegrado family. It blossomed as they started to acquire surrounding properties and developed it and in return, providing work and job opportunities to its owners. PBA-Visayas Winners!!!

It’s already hours away from now, and we will know the PBA-Visayas Winners. Philippine Blog Awards-Visayas is happening tonight at Ayala City Sports in Cebu!

Hope to see new and old Visayan Bloggers tonight in PBA-Visayas! I’m excited to know the winners of PBA-Visayas.

Wondering this time on what to wear for the event. Will I go sexy, gurly or classy? Will I try to mix and match? When I doubt, black is a friend of moi! This is the PBA-Visayas effect! I’m now ready with my cam and some accessories. Will be showcasing my new Cherry Mobile Comet! LOL…
