Daily Buzz: Love One Another not Love Another!

It’s a weekend and I can’t resist to post my daily buzz for you! The streets might be busy for the Sinulog 2011 activities but it’s definitely a remarkable day for two sweethearts as they tied the knot of love. Chos!

Wedding Takes:

I finally had all white (well, not that too much white) and green pair of shoes to match the wedding motif, Green! Check my photos on facebook! Oooops, I’m working out with my camera so I have no shots of myself!

All I can remember on the priest homily is the phrase “Love One Another not Love Another”. Well, the priest well explained it in both vernacular and English but if you’re wise enough, you’ll know what he purports to mean.  In my understanding, let  LOVE be universal to Read more…

Cebu Food Street by Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort

Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort introduces their own Cebuano Food Street dubbed as “Food Street: Cebu’s Gourmet Street Cuisine by Maribago Bluewater”. This is another themed dinner by the resort that is happening every Thursdays on this 4th quarter of the year 2010. As you know, I was able to experience a sumptuous meal during their themed dinner every Tuesdays dubbed as Bluewater Clambake!

I get delighted to savor the different Filipino Recipes that is common to be found on Philippine Streets. The street food showcases the country’s culinary culture especially giving emphasis to the Cebuano flavor where in you can have one of the best places to get delighted with street food.

I am glad that Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort highlighted such themed dinner to give those travelers a taste of the richness and diversity of Cebu’s food culture. The proud Chef Alan simply would love to introduce the authentic food culture in Cebu with the all time favorite delectable street food.

Certainly, there are a number of stations or stalls that you can hop just like what you normally see on streets. Of course, Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort has made a good set creation for it. So, are you ready to see what made me full that night?

Red Ribbons Bakeshop: Crispy Chicken and Cakes

In Cebu, Red Ribbon’s Bakeshop (in Coco Mall) shared and introduced a new addition to their delightful meal, Crispy chicken! I got excited to it as it is served right before my eyes and before my mouth could salivate it! How is this different Crispy Chicken from Red Ribbon made?

Making Red Ribbon’s Crispy Chicken

Marinated, battered, and coated in seasoned flour, the choice cutlets are then fried until extra crispy.  Instead of the usual gravy or ketchup, Crispy Chicken is served with a unique rich mango barbecue sauce with real mango bits.  This tangy sauce is drizzled on the crunchy chicken portions beside a steaming cup of white rice.  The result is a deliciously different meal.

Red Ribbon Bakeshop: Crispy Chicken

Recommended Combo while dining in:

For a sweet ending, order the Crispy Chicken with Red Ribbon’s classic cakes.   Choose from Black Forest, Chocolate Fudge Cake, or Dulce de LecheCrispy Chicken is available with a slice of Red Ribbon cake and drink for only P148.00 or ala carte for just P90.00.
