Blog Advertising And The Ads You Accept

Certainly, this year of the golden tiger as they say is the year to make a good start of doing business or making money! Of course, online marketing is one avenue most business people are looking into. New ways and new opportunities for a lot of people. Blog advertising has grown so much in terms of marketing strategy practiced by internet marketers. They have conquered social sites like facebook, myspace, twitter, and etc. It is expected that advertising through blogs will increase more this year.

For blog owners, it is also opening windows for new opportunities to earn online. One can make use of his blog to promote his products or services. Put ads from Google Adsense or getting affiliate links to big companies like Amazon and Clickbank. These are the many options to monetize a blog.

However, the best and more attractive way to drive traffic to one’s blog or site is the quality of its content that would keep readers coming back as well as bringing in more visitors to the site. Content is still king. Contents that are unique and of high quality and well-written are favorable to those who are looking for good and useful information. Read more…

Memoirs of You (continuation…)

This is part 2 of my love tale. Read the first part here.

First month

I found the first month of the year very enticing. LOL. Yeah, you told me to start the year with a bang! Yes, I did! Because you’re like the firecracker that keeps my days sparkling every time I see you.

moi

I can’t forget the breaks and lunches we had together. The small chichats while munching our food. That’s the first time I realized that there’s something’s unique in you. And I felt so sorry to hear that you’re definitely allergic to flour! And that the reaction that it may cause you would even take your breath out forever. I don’t want to happen that to you (if ever, forever is ours). That means, all your birthdays are celebrated without cakes, pastas, pizzas, noodles, cookies and pastries. I can’t imagine how could I surprise you with those forbidden food on your very special day? Am thinking of a vegan party for yah! Hmmm… I will try to be your queer chef that time! Hope you don’t get poisoned! LOL! But I know how you crave for these forbidden foods. You even dared to bite a portion of a sweet pastry bar where I challenged you to eat. Honestly, I’m so conscious and worried when you bit it Read more…

June 11, 2009- I’m not really into politics but it’s good to peek sometimes to what’s happening in the world of Philippine government. I just find politics not a pleasing topic for me. But let me share my viewpoints just for this time.

I’ve met Senator Mar Roxas face-to-face when we had some casual discussions in Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf in IT Park, Lahug with my fellow Cebu Bloggers (CBS). The meet-up was made possible with our fellow blogger, Kevin, who is a number one supporter of the senator. We all know that Roxas is running this 2010 presidential election. An hour of coffee talk with him may not be enough but at least we get the chance to ask him some questions. During the conversations, I managed to take notes and let me share them to you.

iblog5 Summit

No one can stop me now even the Swine Flu threat to fly to Manila for the iblog5 Summit. It will be my very first to attend this nationwide gathering of bloggers! An event where to meet those co-bloggers in person, make pep chitchats and of course, camwhoring!

Right at this time, I’m already packing my things for the May 9, 2009 iblog5 Summit event. I will be on-board thru CEBPAC (got no choice) at 9pm on May 8, 2009. Where am gonna stay? Anywhere in the UP campus… Transient ang show. Who will be coming with me? Well, I have Empress and Rab’s company.

Because I got this slight panick on what to model on the big day, I recently bought new pairs of pants… LOL… just nothing… (not worth to be shared of). I know every blogger who registered for the iblog5 summit, feels the same way. How can I meet all those merely half a thousand registrants? Well, it’s all in the charm.

For those who are attending the iblog5 summit at the U.P. College of Law, see yah!

Check: http://iblogph.org/ for details.

8 Scrolls of the Queer X

Alma, one of my site visitors tagged me! Didn’t expect it, but I think, I’ve got to continue the chain of tagging people! I appreciate to be tagged by her. I can’t believe that an insane, obnoxious, queer blogger like me will be tagged! But before I disclose my short BIO portfolio, here are the GOLDEN RULES:

1. Each player must post these rules first.
2. Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
3. People who are tagged need to write their own blog about their eight things and post these rules.
4. At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
5. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.
