I’ll soon pose here!

Lately, my team just earned Php 5k from our program by rendering the most no. of OT hours rendered for a week. It was a contest then that we took seriously and it’s worth it! We hit the mark and the money is ours! In addition, we are given GA funds to spend on whatever trips or outings we wanted. This idea is a good thing from top management as it was stopped before in the last 2 quarters of the past year. Yippee! We are just so lucky this time!

BOHOL 2-day Tour (with Itinerary)

$6.00 Welcome Survey After Free Registration!

My team mate, PIO wanted to visit the island of Bohol as he was never been there. Much of a thought that me and my girl pals have been to that picturesque local place, we offered a suggestion to tour him around. It was a plan out of the blue. And it’s been quite a while that we thought of re-visiting as we would like to feel the Loboc river cruise experience which we never had during our first time in it (it was raining that previous day!)

Good thing we had Manong Leonard’s no. as our contact for the van and a tour guide in one. We set the day for the tour on May 31, 2008. We only spent the car rent for Php 2,500 for the whole trip (arrival and departure). But we had a discount!!! Yahoo! The only surprising thing that happened a day before we went to Bohol, my other team mates backed out! Glad to know that another girl friend of mine also wanted to join! There were 4 of us on tour, my girl friend’s boyfriend catch up to our cottage accommodation late in the afternoon.

And what would be our itinerary then? Everywhere our driver-tour guide will lead us to! He was so kind and very loquacious in his native tongue which got us quite entertained in the Toyota Corolla car we rented. I would enumerate the place we’ve been too. So you might have an idea if you wish to visit Bohol. Read below:

Sunday Treats

Posted in January 27th, 2008

One should take everyday as a special day. But it seems few people only practice it. Not even me does, no matter how I wanted to. There are always mundane days in a week. And let me think, what day should it be considered extraordinary?Actually, any day! Like for this time, it’s a Sunday! And I gave myself a palatable treat at Red Ribbon this time in Ayala Cebu.

Itchy thing!

My 5th day of training in a call center is bad. It started early morning after I had eaten my breakfast in a famous fastfood chain in our building. I can’t just mention the name. I ate pancake with egg, cheese and sausage. After that, I had this unusual itchy thing throughout my body. I didn’t know if I get allergic to eggs. I don’t have any history of allergies againts eggs or cheese or sausages. I love eating those stuff. Am I having food allergies?

Have these reddish rash that itches or I don’t know any med term for it. You know the after effect of scratching. So I decided to go to the clinic and asked for some antihistamines. The nurse gave one to me and it did worked out! But during the late night and ’till the next day, I am still experiencing the same thing. Itchiness is all throughout. I don’t know what and not what to eat! I will have myself checked up. God, I never experience this kind of feeling ever since I moved to my new work!

3 Meals: “Pospas” for Holy Week

Posted in April 7th, 2007
Published in Confessions, Food, My Views

My mom cooks a surprise meal for us this Holy Week. It’s what she served for us to eat for three important meals of the day (breakfast, lunch and dinner). The meal is called ‘pospas’ or ‘arroz caldo’ or ‘lugaw’ or ‘congee’ (got a lot to call it ;) ). There are many variations of it as others have their own way of flavoring it. In making this soupy rice porridge, you need spices (ginger, garlic, onions, red bell pepper, celery etc.), chicken strips, flavoring cubes, dried shrimps, eggs, soy sauce, salt, water and of course the rice! Well, those are one of the basics in cooking that soupy, tasty rice porridge (oopps! I mentioned quite all :) ). You can add a few ingredients depending on what suites your taste.
