Wolverine and Luna

When I watched the movie, X-MEN Origins: Wolverine, there is this one scene that I liked most. It’s the part where Logan (Hugh Jackman) and Kayla Silverfox (Lynn Collins) got into their most intimate and deep heart repartee in a couch. While the teasing and pre-sex reposition of the couple were in their best gesticulation, Kayla heartily shared a love story about a moon and it’s lover to Logan in their deepest thoughts in that one heated night! She even shed a tear out of love, perhaps.

The moon use to have a love, kuakuoku. But when another spirit (trickster) got jealous of their lover, he told kuakuoku that the moon had asked for wild roses. So Kuakuoku came down to earth to pick some for her. But Kuakuoku didn’t know that once a spirit left the spirit world and came into ours, they could never go back. So now, every night he looks up at the moon and howls her name. Kuakuoku means wolverine.

I felt inspired when that scene flashes back to my memories. How I wish, I could whisper such tale to my own wolverine. It’s been days now that one special guy confessed how he loves the music by Jason Mraz, entitled: Bella Luna. It’s a beautiful song, as brilliant as the moon (LUNA). I felt that this guy is so special to me, I can’t just mention his name, maybe in my next entries. But definitely, he is my wolverine! We have good times and great moments worth to be kept and treasured. I want to be the illuminant of the dark skies above him. The supernatural nighlight that would show the paths of our memories. Though I want to melt with him along with the brilliance of the constellations of stars, I just can’t. I can only look down to him and gaze at his shadows, a reflection of my light while he is staring at me underneath the vast skies.
