DigitalFilipino Club Networking Event in Cebu and the Cebu Bloggers (Oct. 23, 2008)

Points of View:

Let’s call it, a night! Yeah, still fresh from the digitalfilipino club networking event that I attended in Teatro Casino of the Waterfront Hotel in Lahug, Cebu City. The event was sponsored by the extravagant PAGCOR. Yippee! Thanks a lot especially for the freebies! More to expect? Looking forward to it, guys! The buffet was indeed filling my stomach with sumptuous meal. And the best part of it? Our new Cebu Bloggers tees were on the spotlight! The ObnoxiousQueer is proud to model the shirt that drooled the eyes of the participants! Well, thanks to the creations of Miong and Rianov. Watch out for the Cebu Bloggers camwhoring moves and teasers. Once you hear the cam clicks, it becomes a photo. And pix don’t lie especially if they are steal shots! LOL! Love our shirt? People to Know:

It’s a well-attended event by bloggers, web designers, web developers, SEOs, online mavericks, broadcasters, media men, IT folks and other advocates of the digital world. It’s definitely a successful endeavor for the Cebu Bloggers Again, PAGCOR made a mark for being a perfect dinner host. Shall I say, we are on food and entertainment nirvana! My personal salute as well to Ms. Janette Toral for sharing her experiences and insights on e-commerce, blogging, site optimization, etc. and for the invitation to this event. Hope to see you again! And folks, buy her book “Blogging from Home”. Just spare your Php 450 for it! It is a perfect Christmas gift this holiday season! Mind you. Our local contact is Kevin if you wanna buy one, two or three! ?

Meet and Greet:

Those present tonight were given a chance to introduce their selves and their involvement in the mystical world of internet. At least, we would know who our co-attendees. Some made revealing confessions and statements about their blogs and forum names. That amuses me! Now, I know how they look like! They are still human beings not cyber aliens. Hehehe…

Again, Aloha to the new peeps that I met on the event! Too bad, I forgot to print my “calling cards” (actually still on the process of making one). But thanks to those who gave their contact cards. Expect an email from me! LOL! Why not? You don’t want to join Cebu Bloggers Society? Hmmm.. No. You should! I may not be able to mention all your names, but if you happened to bumped me that night, pls. do drop a comment on this post. You deserve to be acknowledged by OQ! Oooooppss… thanks to those who bought the shirts! Want to order more? Click here for details. ;)

After Parhtee:

Some of the Cebu Bloggers opted to spend the rest of the night worth it. We dashed at Da Vinci’s for pizza treats! Thanks to bethelo and Kevin for sharing their raffle draw winnings to us! Hahahah… The best things in life are free!!!
