1. MBM discussion:

- visited Ccebu.net/mandaue for more details of the event.
- some brought the issue on the LAN party registration. We still need to clarify the registration fee with Mr. Rio Calle.
- other Bloggers are having issues in the Cebu Blog contest registration. Jorich reported that he gets a registration error when he tried it. We resorted in reporting the issue to Mr. Calle as we advised him.

2. CBS recruitment:

- All present on the 2nd CBS meet-up were already members.
- Each of the members promised to invite other Cebu Bloggers to join CBS as well.
- Hoping to double or triple the no. of attendees of the next meet up.

3. Aileen Apolo meet-up:

- Suggested Place: Da Vinci (Jones)
- Date: Aug 15, 2008, between 5:30 or 7:30 pm (tentative)
- Still waiting for the consensus of the other CBS members.

4. Byahilo.com meet-up:

- Arnold informed the group that the owner of Byahilo.com is coming to Cebu for the Pasigarbo sa Sugbo Festival on Aug 9, 2008.
- Suggested Venue: Bo’s Café in Ayala Center Cebu
- Time: around 5 pm
- All details (c/o Arnold)

5. CBS’s Food tripping

- Suggested Food Trips:

* Mooon café
* Kan-anan ni kuya J (capitol area)
* Alberto’s Pizza
* Lamesa Grill
* Bernie Bop (capitol area)
* Others (any suggestions?)

- This is a weekend gathering (TBA)
- The group suggested to give each restaurants a CBS Group card. It’s like a “calling” card that contains members’ site. This is one way of introducing the group. With this, a motion to change the CBS logo (c/o Wilhelmina) was made. Here’s the link of the logo. The logo is still for the approval of the original logo creator of CBS, Mark.
- Printing of the cards (c/o Aileen)
- Budget: Php100 (still looking for sponsors) **hehehehehe**

6. Other matters:

- CBS members will soon tackle on Blog monetization
- SEO issues
- Recommended aggregator sites to increase traffic
- Sharing Blogging experiences
- The next meet up will be posted (thru CBS yahoogroups and Visayas bloggers). Probable next venue will be in the WALK, IT PARK.
