What will you feel if your EX-LOVER after a long time you’ve been parted away happens to text you asking your current state now? Are you willing to give a word of hand? And just after all, this person realizes how much he/she misses you? But why so sudden, huh? Why this time? Is he/she still thinking of you? In that cold night that you usually share together hugging and waiting ‘till morning. You just realized it. And that person realizes it as well.

When I logged out from work, I took my breakfast at Starbucks with a close friend and team mate, Jay. We usually hang out together sharing candid stories that we ever could think of. Men, guys, cute boys, crushes, bitchy moments, lovers and ex-lovers, all state-of-the-art lip talk (you know that!). These are the things that flaunt during free time with the work issues set aside. Then, we went home. Simply….

I’m on my way home, walking on the pavements leading to Waterfront Hotel where Jay and I usually passed (just passing-by, yow!), I received a text message from someone I’ve known for 4 years! Arrggg, my EX-bf!!! I tip-stopped for a while, scrolled the inbox, and read a simple message:

“ Hi, Gud AM! It’s been a while so we haven’t seen each other. Muztamos (means, How are you?). Awake naka? Did I disturb you?

Duh, what the hell is he thinking? I just replied:

“Just got out of work. Where you now? ”

He replied:

“Hehehe… I’m on vacation in Manila. I juz miz u na eh… (he’s missing me). Call center paka nagwork? ”

We exchanged messages until I fortunately got LOW BAT! Good thing, my phone is off and my load won’t be damned wasted. Sad to know, when I charged my phone, 6 unread messages flocked my screen! And this person is pathetically out of his mind! To sum up what he texted me. It’s just an offer of getting back together as to what we have been before. And for me, it could never be the same again. The catch of his message:

I just realized I’m wrong pushing you back and hope to see you again.

As my reply,

let me think over and give me 1 million years for that. Got no load!

And my phone is as silent as it’s turned off.
