For a change! Love story is not always sweet. It’s sometimes, an enigma!!! Obviously, the title said so. I received this entry last year and got the chance to post it here as a featured article. Sorry for the “”, I opted not to edit it as to maintain the authenticity of the story as to the one who made it. Lol, am i feeling lazy? Not really! If you love reading, then I mean you must read it. Feb. 13, 04,- Liza was watching jeepers creeper with her hausemates. her cellphone beeped and the message was from an old friend. she got so excited that she read the message right away. the message was so sweet that it tickled her untouched heart. maybe it was because she was already expecting that sweet message. the messsage was from Sean, the guy who once courted her when she was still in first year college, 2 yrs ago,  but she was not ready at that time to be in a relationship. she replied right away, but she got run out of credit. so in her excitement she asked her friends if they still have loads in their account, luckily her girlfriend let her use her cellphone. so she then replied. she told him that she just borrowed her friends cellphone and she got run out of load. she can’t reply his messages after the reply. she also told him that they are going out for the night. Sean replied and told her to take care. she felt like walking on clouds at that night. at the gimmik place latter that night, her friends noticed the glitters in her eyes they they thought that it was just because they were with guys who are from a famous university. Carmen, the friend of Liza who is the schoolmate and friend of the guys from Clark University introduced her friends to her, Mark, the cute guy who always wears a smile, Frank, the gentle men, Smith the dark and handsome guy, and the rest of the guys. Carmen wanted Liza to have a boyfriend. Liza never had a boyfriend. she enjoys her life going out with friends, meeting new friends and visiting friends place during vacations. all her time was spent enjoying her single life. she has been to lots of places, and met lots of friends including boys. but she does not intertain guys form acquaintances, she wanted them to like her for who she is not just for her looks. that’s plainly the reason why she she never had an intimate relationship with a guy.  Latter that night, Mark was trying to catch Liza’s attention. he told Liza that he likes her. he did’nt know that Liza liked him also because he was cute. but Liza was already aware that he was just trying to impress her. he atttemped to hold her hands and Liza just let her touched her hands because she dont want him to be imbarrashed in front of his friends. she did’nt like what Mark is doing and her friends are aware of that. So Carmen and Lily took Marks attention by telling him to quit holding hands with Liza because Liza is better matched with Frank. so they took his hands off with Lizas hands and tried to smoothen the situation by holding Marks hands. they converse with Mark while Frank cooperated and talked to Liza. Liza was comfortable with Frank. he was a gentle men but he was a bit drank thats the reason why Liza did’nt actually believe what he was saying. she can sense that he’s telling no lie but still she does not trust him. she always have in her mind that all guys are good and nice because they want something in return. Frank told her he liked her, but she didnt believe. it was 5 dawn when they feel like seperating with the guys. so they decided to leave.Â

Liza was packing her things. she was preparing for home. it was a saturday, Valentines day, February 14th. she was on her way to the bathroom to freshen herself when her friend Lory brought the cake they ordered. she stoped and had a conversation with her. with them were carmen, naomi(owner of the hause) and santino (a friend). they where talking about who they will spend their valentines with and who to give the cakes they order. Lory said shes spending her night with a couple of friends. she tried to convince Liza to stay and go with her for a gimmik at night. but Liza refused because she is excited to meet her family and bring them the cake. Naomi asked Liza why she didnt have a date for the night, she just answered, “i have nobody else to spend my valentines with for now.” and then smiled. Naomi just smiled to her and commented. thats because you have no boyfriend yet. and they all agreed to laught. Santino has the same comment as naomi. but still they cant convince Liza get a boyfriend. they finished their conversation when they noticed the time was ticking so fast. so they ended up the conversation and greeted each other a happy valentines day.
