Cellphone use could disrupt sleep!

Since I’m working in a call center industry, sleep disruption is one of the controversial issues talked about today! But as a Tech Support Representative who works mostly on a night shift basis, balancing a healthy lifestyle could be a great challenge. As of now, I think I’m in control and is able to manage it. When I first started to adapt the graveyard shift lifestyle, it was so difficult. The sleeping habits and diet consciousness are sacrificed!

I recently read a research article featured in Inquirer.net about cellphone usage before bedtime can cause sleepless nights. That could be miserable, right?

A Swedish researcher, Bengt Arnetz, a professor of social medicine and stress research at Uppsala University, north of Stockholm spearheaded the study on the subject: Chatting on a mobile phone before bedtime makes for more restless nights.

According to the results of the study, radiation coming from mobile phones contributes to cause insomnia, headaches and concentration difficulties. There were 35 men and 36 women between the ages of 18 and 45, intermittently exposing some to 884 MHz wireless signals (equivalent to mobile phone’s released radiation). Those subjects reported to have trouble sleeping at night and reported headaches.

I can’t just imagine that could be life-threatening as well. It could be a fatal issue for us in the modern world of technology. This serves as an FYI to all of us. Hope this article helps as well.

Yep, i seem to notice that one as well. I just got a sun cellular sim card lately so i can get a hold of my girlfriend on the phone more often. We talked and talked the whole day, exhaustingly bearing with the bad connection of the line since Sun’s signal is not pretty good at all. Come nighttime that i need to take some rest, i can’t seem to get ease anymore. Normally i would just breathe real deep and hard and the next thing i know, or perhaps i don’t know, i was already snoring my way through sweet slumber.
But it’s sad for the fact though that we cannot getaway with the modern and even more advancing technology we have at hand. We need cellphones for better and fast communication.
Recently, i also got a mail from the office saying that we need to use the left ear when answering cellphone calls coz in the right side, it will affect directly a certain spot in the brain which could lead to brain cancer. I don’t know if that’s true but it’s better to be on the safe side.

The Queer's Oracle

What’s written will be history. This mundane life of the queer has come to its epitome of metamorphosis. Each daily quest for survival is an important adventure worth to be told. The external forces also form part of the queer’s existence in the struggle to adapt to these conditions. But the inner spring of strength controls the mind, body, and soul. And now you know the secret code of the queer.
