Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao from General Santos city, Philippines defended his title as the World Boxing Council International Super Featherweight Champion against his challenger, Jorge Solis from Gudalajara, Mexico at the Aladome, San Antonio, Texas on Sunday (April 15, 2007).

Pacquiao gives his powerful lethal right-left combination punch and hit Solis a knock out during the 8th round of the fight. Solis tried to give straight punches to Pacquiao but never succeeded. The champion must have good defense tactics. He is the WBC’s No. 1 contender to the super flyweight world title held by Juan Manuel Marquez of Mexico.

This is the 2nd time I wasn’t able to watch the fight on TV. I joined the Tour of the Fireflies eh, di bale sa replay nalang, which until now I have not watched….darn!

I read about Pacquiao on other blogs too bad I am not really a fan of that sport
