What’s your JOB?

Posted in April 3rd, 2007

April 03, 2007- Twenty days from now, I will be working in the best call center in the Philippines and in the US. If you want to know where I would work, I’ll tell you later (or you may search on your search engines with the tags). The excitement was just so enormous that I can’t wait to start soon. I know that working in a call center is stressful but I think it depends on the person how he/she handles the job. For me, I consider it as a career option of having the best one!

My friends and other ex-colleagues at work are now diving into the call center industry. The benefits are just too good to be true and that’s what I’m after. My previous company doesn’t give any benefits at all except for a 5-day vacation leave in a year! That s*cks! We don’t have any incentives and other bonuses at all. Even freebies or discount cards, we don’t have it! Such a poor BPO company! What’s that again? BPO? Business Process Outsourcing! Ohhhhh!

I have been an Editorial Assistant for almost 2 years now! That’s my previous job. I served as the Team Leader of the group and eventually, the Trainer. What we do is we validate corrections coming from the author/editor after they had proofread it. Then, we transcribe them on the proofs. That’s basically my previous profession! I have worked also as a proofreader and a Quality Assurance staff in that publishing company. Fortunately, just decided 1 day to pursue a different career in a call center! It’s worth giving up my previous work!

Blogging and having a personal website is sideline job for me. Just launched this site earlier this year and I found it a good job to enjoy it! It’s my stress reliever! So what do you do for a living? Mind sharing that piece that completes you as person.

The Queer's Oracle

What’s written will be history. This mundane life of the queer has come to its epitome of metamorphosis. Each daily quest for survival is an important adventure worth to be told. The external forces also form part of the queer’s existence in the struggle to adapt to these conditions. But the inner spring of strength controls the mind, body, and soul. And now you know the secret code of the queer.
