Hostage Ordeal ended peacefully

The news on tv shocked the Philippines’ recent hostage drama.

As reported, 26 children and 4 tutors of a daycare center in Manila were held hostage for almost 10 hours starting at 9:30 am inside a bus. Their lead captor is the owner of the daycare center, Armando Ducat Jr. Along with the alleged captor are two accomplices of the hostage.

“Ducat had demanded support for the education of at least 145 school children of the Musmos Daycare and improved housing for them and their families.”- Inquirer.net, reported.

The hostage taker, Armando Ducat Jr. and one of his accomplices, Ogie Carbonel surrendered to the authorities with the hostage negotiator, Sen. Ramon Bong Revilla and Senatorial candidate, Luis Chavit Singson.

The intention of Ducat is good but the way in seeking public sympathy for his concern can’t just be tolerated like that! The hostage would cause a traumatic experience for the kids and even to their parents! It is not just proper!
