Slow Web Browser and How I Solved it!

Posted in March 11th, 2007

For the past 3 days, I’ve been experiencing a slow web browser. Every time I open my Internet Explorer with my default home page which is GOOGLE, it takes a couple of minutes before I can actually view the page! But eventually, switching to different sites is quite smooth. My only problem is opening a new site! Yesterday, March 10, I was able to find a solution to my problem. I’m not really a “Techy” person who knows much on computers but I’m trying to explore in this field.

Want to know how I did fix that headache-giving problem?

Here’s how:

1. After my home page had opened, on the Menu Bar, I clicked “VIEW”.

2. Clicked “Toolbars”.

3. Unchecked “the google and yahoo toolbars” that I have downloaded.

4. And it was a SUCCESS! At a click, my default home page is opened!

I just realized that these toolbars contribute much is slowing my web browsing thing! At first, I’ve thought I got a virus, adwares, spam, etc. on my PC. But I did all virus scans, updates, and everything but still resulted to that problem. Only when I discovered about ‘toolbars’, that it’s the main headache factor!

Do you have a similar problem? Or do you have other ways to solve it if in case I will encounter the same thing?

Share your tips and solutions. Thanks in advance!

The Queer's Oracle

What’s written will be history. This mundane life of the queer has come to its epitome of metamorphosis. Each daily quest for survival is an important adventure worth to be told. The external forces also form part of the queer’s existence in the struggle to adapt to these conditions. But the inner spring of strength controls the mind, body, and soul. And now you know the secret code of the queer.
